Civilians for Veterans Funds
The Civilians for Veterans Fund is a unique collaborative effort between Colorado’s community mental health centers, private donors, and the Department of Veterans Affairs. This partner collaboration helps benefit veterans of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom and their families. Moreover, receiving free and confidential mental health treatment in three rural areas of Colorado, including the southeast region.
Colorado Behavorial Health Council
CBHC promotes the development and growth of relevant, high quality, comprehensive mental health services at the community level in Colorado.
Colorado Health Partnerships is the managed care company that provides mental health services to the residents of southeast Colorado. Through efforts of the Colorado Medicaid Community Mental Health Services Program and its contract with the Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing. CHP is a subsidiary of ValueOptions®, which is the nation’s largest independent behavioral health and wellness company.
Friendly Harbor Community Center
The Friendly Harbor provides a positive atmosphere for growth. It encourages empowerment and self-reliance through peer support, advocacy, and role modeling. Friendly Harbor is not a treatment facility. Peer Specialists model the skills used to recognize and manage symptoms to build a satisfying and meaningful life. Their lived experience is a powerful complement to mental health services, but it is not treatment.
Dedicated to serving the needs of those in the behavioral health and addiction treatment communities, and others who have complex chronic health conditions. Genoa Healthcare is the largest provider of pharmacy, outpatient telepsychiatry and medication management services. With over 15 years of experience, Genoa Healthcare serves more than 650,000 individuals annually across the United States.
Health Colorado is licensed by the State of Colorado’s Division of Insurance, as a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO). It is subject to various statutes and regulations governing the conduct of its business. They are a Regional Accountable Entity (RAE) under contract with the State. Managing physical and behavioral health services for individuals who live within nineteen (19) counties. They comply with both Federal and State regulations. Governing the operation of managed care health plans financed with Federal and State health care funds.
The National Mental Health Association (NMHA) is the country’s oldest and largest nonprofit organization addressing all aspects of mental health and mental illness. With over 340 affiliates nationwide, NMHA works to improve the mental health of all Americans. Specifically, the 54 million individuals with mental disorders through advocacy, education, research and service.
Mental Health America of Colorado
Mental Health America of Colorado is a statewide advocacy group that creates opportunities for all Coloradoans to achieve mental wellness. MHAC programs educate people about mental health conditions, provide outreach to people in need and advocate for improved health care. They exist as a community resource for people seeking information about mental health. As a team player, they collaborate with others to improve health care in Colorado. MHAC envisions a healthy Colorado free of stigma and discrimination. Where every person has full access to high quality services for all mental health and substance abuse conditions.
Parkview Medical Center was founded in 1923 and offers acute healthcare and behavioral health specialty services. Additionally, Parkview is now part of UCHealth’s extensive network of hospitals and clinics. Their role is to oversee the sensitive balancing of our charitable purpose with the ongoing growth and viability of Parkview Medical Center. The Health System administers the highest ethical practices to strengthen the Medical Center as a care provider and business. The hospital has a strong sense of ownership in the community and is committed to improving the quality of life.
Pueblo Community Health Center
Pueblo Community Health Center is a 501 (c)(3) private non-profit full-service family practice provider. It provides the following services: General Primary Medical Care, General Dental Care, Perinatal Care, Urgent and Minor Emergency Care, Preventive Developmental and Diagnostic Services for Infants and Children, Adult Preventive Services, Immunizations, Diagnostic Laboratory, Diagnostic Radiology, Coordination and Follow-up for Hospital Care, Homeless Outreach & Care, Migrant/Seasonal Farmworker Outreach & Care, HIV/AIDS Care, Mental Health Services, Health Education and School-Based Wellness Centers.

National Council for Community Behavoral Healthcare
The National Council is a nonprofit trade association serving the education, advocacy and networking needs of more than 800 community providers of mental health and addiction treatment services.
National Consumer Supporter Technical Assistance Center (NCSTAC)
NCSTAC was established in 1998 by a grant from the Center for Mental Health Services. NCSTAC’s purpose is to strengthen those organizations supporting mental health consumers, survivors and ex-patients. It provides technical assistance in the form of research, informational materials, and financial aid.
